Perth Funksters THRUST are Pete Jeavons (bass/ vocals), Konrad Park (drums/ vocals), Luke Savage (keyboards/ vocals) and Simon Jeans (guitar/ vocals).

’Survival of The Funkiest’ was recorded at various studios from 2003-2006 and was pieced together at Poons Head Studio (Fremantle, WA) by Rob Grant and Pete Jeavons in the early part of this year, 2006. Supported by ArtsWA, ’Survival of The Funkiest’ journeys through a wide range of musical terrain and features a number of special guests including Paula Graham (vocals), Dave Jeavons (vocals), Carl Mackey (saxophone), Benn Hodgkin (trumpet), Paul Tanner (vibraphone) and more. The 10 original tracks incorporate elements of rock, jazz, hip-hop, blues and most of all, hard­assed super heavy funk!
